Mani Ratnam, one of the greatest directors in the Indian film industry, has come up with a great new film made on a humongous budget of 500 crores and produced by Lyca Productions. The new movie is called "PONNIYIN SELVAN-1," It explores the Story of one of the greatest and longest-ruling Chola Dynasty in the Southern part of India. This upcoming Tamil Epic is based on a novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy, whose primary Story revolves around the life and battles of Raja Raja Chola 1.

A new trailer's recent social media release has attracted viewers with its spectacular fight sequences, eye-catching set design, and cast members' performances. The trailer is available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. It stars Vikram as Aditya Kalaran, Trisha as Kundavai, Aishwarya Rai as Nandini, Jayam Ravi as Arunmozhi Varman, and Karthi as Vanthiyathevan. The three main characters of the plot are the ruler Sundara Chozhan and his sons Adithya Karikalan and Arunmozhi Varman (who later ruled as Rajaraja Chozhan). The Story begins with Aditiya Karikalan, Arunmozhi Varman's older brother, sending two letters to his father Sundara Chola and younger sister Kundavai via Vaanar clan prince Vandiyadevan. The story of how Vandiyadevan protects Aditiya Karikalan, Arunmozhi Varman, and their father Sundara Chola from Pandya Aabathudavigal is told in Ponniyin Selvan part 1. With music by the legendary A.R. Rahman and direction by Mani Ratnam, it will undoubtedly leave an impression on Indian cinema and astound viewers worldwide.
