With Whatsapp and Twitter adopting subscription tier plans, Telegram has also hinted at introducing the subscription plans to its users. According to recent sources, the company is reportedly working on a Telegram Premium. The term implies that the company will charge a fee and offer some "Premium-exclusive" features. The app's latest beta version, which includes exclusive reactions and stickers, gives a strong hint.

Alessandro Paluzzi, a well-known developer whose Twitter handle is @alex193a, has provided some critical details, confirming the speculation of a Telegram premium membership service. According to the most recent modification to the app's codebase, the tagline may change to "Telegram provides free unlimited storage for chats and media" (available on translations.telegram.org). The earlier slogan, "Telegram is free forever, no ads, no subscription fees," seems to fade soon. Users will be able to unlock premium stickers, more reactions, and more with Premium. Subscriptions are not yet available, but they are expected to be available soon.
