Pay your MP West Discom (Indore) bill on Subspace
Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Ltd, usually shortened to MPPKVVCL Indore or MP West Discom, supplies electricity in western Madhya Pradesh across the Indore and Ujjain regions. (The same abbreviation is sometimes used for the East Discom in Jabalpur, so check the company name on your bill.) Your bill is identified by an IVRS number, generally 10 digits. With it you can view or download the bill and receipts on the West Discom portal, pay there, or pay through any Bharat Connect (BBPS) app, including Subspace. This page covers the IVRS number, bill download, MP's domestic tariff and the official helpline.

Finding and entering your IVRS number
MP West Discom identifies each connection by its IVRS number, printed on the bill. New-format IVRS numbers are a capital N followed by 10 digits. Older numbers are 10 digits, and some flows ask for them with an H in front (for example H1234567890). The discom is migrating to a new billing system that changes some IVRS numbers, so if an old number stops working, use the one on your latest bill or call 1912.
Use the same IVRS number for the portal, BBPS apps and complaints.
MPPKVVCL Indore bill download
The West Discom's online services run at mpwzservices.mpwin.co.in, linked from mpwz.co.in. To download the current bill:
- Choose Retail Bill Payment LT Postpaid and enter your IVRS number.
- Click View & Pay Energy Bill.
- Use View Latest Month Bill, or View Full Bill in English or Hindi, and click Download.
For earlier months, open Consumer A/C Related Services → View Previous Month Bills, which lists each bill month with a download button. Transaction History shows payments with a Print Receipt option, but only for payments made on this portal. The discom's own app, Urjas 2.O, also downloads bills.
The portal's FAQ says successful payments are posted to the billing system within three working days, so keep a BBPS app's transaction reference until then.
How MP’s domestic tariff works, and the 150-unit jump
MPERC's tariff order for 2026-27 sets one domestic (LV 1.2) tariff for all three MP discoms. Energy is charged in telescopic monthly slabs from ₹4.71 to ₹7.24 a unit. The fixed charge is where MP differs from most states. Up to 150 units it's a flat amount per connection (₹134 in urban areas for 51–150 units). Above 150 units it switches to ₹30 per 0.1 kW of load, with load counted as 0.1 kW for every 15 units consumed. So 155 units counts as 1.1 kW, and the fixed charge jumps to ₹330.
The effect: an urban home using 150 units pays about ₹937 before duty, while 151 units costs about ₹1,140. If your readings hover near 150, trimming a few units makes a real difference. Prepaid consumers get 25 paise a unit off the energy charge. Late payment costs 1.25% a month on the outstanding amount.
| Monthly units | Energy ₹/unit | Fixed charge (urban) | Fixed charge (rural) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 50 | 4.71 | ₹81 per connection | ₹67 per connection |
| 51–150 | 5.67 | ₹134 per connection | ₹111 per connection |
| 151–300 | 7.05 | ₹30 per 0.1 kW* | ₹28 per 0.1 kW* |
| Above 300 | 7.24 | ₹30 per 0.1 kW* | ₹28 per 0.1 kW* |
Computed from MPERC FY 2026-27 LV 1.2 urban rates. Electricity duty, fuel adjustment and any state subsidy are not included.
| 50 units | ₹316.5 |
|---|---|
| 100 units | ₹653 |
| 150 units | ₹936.5 |
| 151 units | ₹1,139.6 |
| 200 units | ₹1,575 |
| 300 units | ₹2,460 |
