Pay your BSES Rajdhani or BSES Yamuna bill on Subspace

The company name and logo are at the top of your bill. If you don't have one, your area decides it: south and west Delhi colonies are on BRPL, east and central Delhi on BYPL. North and north-west Delhi are with Tata Power-DDL, a different company with an 11-digit CA number; see Tata Power-DDL bill payment. New Delhi Municipal Council areas are billed by NDMC.

Getting the company right matters when you pay through an app, because BRPL and BYPL are listed separately. A BRPL CA number entered under BYPL won't fetch a bill.

BSES bills monthly; meter readers visit every month. Both companies keep the bill tools under Billing on bsesdelhi.com. Choose your company first (BRPL or BYPL). Download Current Bill opens the My Account login: register once as a new user with your CA number, then download the PDF whenever you need it. Register for E Bill sends the bill by email, and Energy Calculator and Know Your Tariff help you estimate it.

There are two quicker routes for a duplicate bill:

• WhatsApp. BRPL customers send “Hi” to 88009 19123; BYPL customers send “Hi” to 87459 99808 from the registered mobile and choose the duplicate-bill option.
• The app. BRPL's BRPL POWER App shows your bill and payment history; BYPL's app is BYPL Connect.

If you only need the amount due, any Bharat Connect app will fetch it from your CA number.

All three Delhi companies charge the same domestic tariff, set by the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC). It hasn't changed since the FY 2021-22 order: energy is billed in telescopic monthly slabs from ₹3 to ₹8 a unit, plus a fixed charge per kW of sanctioned load. On top come a fuel and power purchase adjustment (FPPAS) that changes monthly, an 8% surcharge for past deficits and a 7% pension surcharge on fixed and energy charges, and electricity tax.

The Delhi government subsidy is why many BSES bills read zero. According to BRPL's FAQ, households using up to 200 units a month have the whole current bill waived, and those using 201–400 units get a subsidy of up to ₹800 a month. Above 400 units there is no subsidy, and it isn't given after a tampering or theft case. Consumers can opt out of the subsidy through the link on bsesdelhi.com. Pay late and BSES charges a late payment surcharge of 18% a year, calculated per day.

On bsesdelhi.com. Quick pay takes the CA number and a captcha, then sends you to the payment page. BRPL's Payments menu also lists offline options, bank bill-pay services and prepaid meter recharge.

Through Bharat Connect. BSES lists Bharat BillPay among its payment channels, so any BBPS app can fetch and pay the bill. On Subspace, pick BSES Rajdhani or BSES Yamuna, enter the CA number, check the name and amount, and pay by UPI. The payment is posted to BSES through Bharat Connect, and your CA number is saved for next month.

In person. BSES customer care centres handle bill queries, and BRPL lets you book a visit by appointment on its website.

Whichever channel you use, pay before the due date printed on the bill, and keep the reference number until the payment shows on the BSES site.
