Pay your TPNODL bill on Subspace
TP Northern Odisha Distribution Ltd (TPNODL), a Tata Power company, supplies electricity across northern Odisha through its Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Jajpur circles. Your bill carries a consumer (CA) number of up to 12 digits, and that's what you use to pay, view bills and check payments. TPNODL bills monthly, and its consumer charter sets the due date at seven days from the bill date, so it pays to know your options. This page covers paying with and without a login, downloading bills and payment history from Tata Power's customer portal, the WhatsApp e-bill service, Odisha's domestic tariff, and paying through Bharat Connect (BBPS) on Subspace.

Odisha’s domestic tariff and its rebates
OERC sets one retail tariff for all four Odisha discoms, so TPNODL charges the same as its sister companies. Rates for 2026-27 are unchanged. Domestic homes pay slab-wise monthly rates from ₹2.90 a unit for the first 50 units to ₹6.10 above 400 units, plus a monthly minimum fixed charge of ₹20 per kW. Meter rent and electricity duty are added.
Odisha's tariff is unusually generous with rebates for paying properly: 4% of the bill for paying in full by digital mode by the due date, 10 paise a unit for paying on time, 4% on the recharge amount for prepaid consumers, and ₹10 a bill for opting for an e-bill. OERC's order doesn't apply a delayed payment surcharge to LT domestic connections, but late payment loses the rebates and can lead to disconnection after notice.
| Monthly units | Energy ₹/unit |
|---|---|
| 0–50 | 2.90 |
| 51–200 | 4.70 |
| 201–400 | 5.70 |
| Above 400 | 6.10 |
| Monthly minimum fixed charge | ₹20 per kW |
| Kutir Jyoti (up to 30 units) | ₹70 a month, flat |
Energy charge from OERC’s FY 2026-27 domestic slabs. Fixed charge, meter rent, duty and rebates change the final bill.
| 100 units | ₹380 |
|---|---|
| 200 units | ₹850 |
| 300 units | ₹1,420 |
| 400 units | ₹1,990 |
| 500 units | ₹2,600 |
Pay your TPNODL bill on Subspace
Open Subspace, go to Electricity and search for TP Northern Odisha Distribution (TPNODL). Enter your consumer number; the bill is fetched from TPNODL through Bharat Connect. Check the name and amount and pay by UPI within the seven-day due date. The payment is posted to TPNODL and the number stays saved.
If a bill goes unpaid, the consumer charter allows disconnection only after a 15-working-day notice under Section 56 of the Electricity Act, and a delayed payment surcharge applies as per the tariff order. Paying on time avoids both. For help, call 1912 or TPNODL's toll-free 1800-345-6718.
