Apple Music free months in India: the 1, 3 and 6-month offers explained

Each offer is claimed once per Apple Account, and all of them turn into a paid subscription unless you cancel. A summer promotion of three months for ₹19 ran from 21 July to 19 August 2026 and has ended.

If you buy eligible new AirPods, Beats or another qualifying audio device, or an Apple Watch, Apple adds three months of Apple Music for new subscribers. Pair the device with your iPhone or iPad, open the Music app, and the offer appears; you have three months from setting up the device to redeem it. The offer is one per Apple Account, so a family with two new devices can't stack them on one account.

Apple Music "6 months free" searches lead to Airtel. Airtel prepaid customers on selected plans, including ₹349 and ₹449 recharges, can claim six months of Apple Music from the Airtel Thanks app. It can be claimed once per mobile number and renews at Apple's monthly price afterwards unless cancelled. Airtel's postpaid family plans include Apple services too. Airtel moved its users to Apple Music when it shut Wynk in 2024. Free months help in year one; the Family plan helps every year. Averaged over the first twelve months, three free months bring Individual to about ₹104 a month, and Airtel's six free months to about ₹70. Family shared by six works out to about ₹38 each, every month. Apple's Family Sharing allows the organiser plus five others.

Apple Music codes are issued by Apple for specific promotions or bought as Apple gift cards, and each works once.
