Apple Music plans in India after the July 2026 price rise
Apple raised Apple Music prices in India on 19–20 July 2026. The Individual plan now costs ₹139 a month, Family ₹229 for up to six people through Family Sharing, and Student ₹69, which also includes Apple TV at no extra cost. New subscribers still get the first month free, and buyers of an eligible new Apple device can get three months free. Apple's India page lists monthly prices only. Apple Music subscription plans in India
Every plan gets the full catalogue, lossless audio and Dolby Atmos spatial audio, and works on iPhone, Mac, Apple TV, Android phones and the web. The plans differ only in who can use them.

What the July 2026 price rise changed
All three plans went up, and Family rose the most. Individual and Student each rose by about 17%, while Family jumped by about 28%. Family is still the best value for a full household, but the gap between Family and two Individual plans has narrowed.

Which Apple Music plan gives the best value
- One listener: Individual, unless you are a college student, in which case Student halves the price and adds Apple TV.
- Two listeners: Family costs less than two Individual plans, even with only two people on it.
- A household of three to six: Family, by a long way. With six people it comes to under ₹40 each per month.
- You already pay for iCloud+ or Apple TV+: compare Apple One Individual at ₹195 with what you pay separately. Apple One Family pricing for India is reported inconsistently, so check the price on your device before switching.

Free trials and offers
New subscribers get the first month free on Individual, Student and Family. Buying an eligible new Apple device can unlock three months free instead. Apple also runs short promotions; one in July and August 2026 offered three months for a small fee on the latest OS, and it has ended. Plans renew automatically until you cancel.
Codes from coupon sites don't work on Apple Music. The only codes Apple accepts are Apple gift cards and promotional codes Apple or a partner issues, which you redeem in the App Store or Music app; our Apple Music redeem guide has the steps.
Sharing Apple Music on Subspace
Apple's Family plan is shared through Family Sharing, with one organiser and up to five others. A few Apple Music groups run on Subspace, and the live table on this page shows their current per-member price. Apple's own Family Sharing rules apply to anyone you add.
