SonyLIV subscription offers that work, and why promo codes don’t
Type "Sony LIV promo code" into Google and you'll find pages of codes, most of them years old. SonyLIV codes are one-time vouchers or partner offers with expiry dates, so a public list is mostly dead weight. The real savings are less exciting and more reliable. LIV Premium costs ₹399 a month but ₹1,499 a year, which is about ₹125 a month. Mobile Only costs ₹699 a year. Jio, Vi and Airtel bundle SonyLIV with certain recharges. Why Sony LIV coupon codes from the internet fail
A real SonyLIV code is either a gift voucher, bought from SonyLIV or an authorised seller, or a partner code from a bank, brand or telecom campaign. Both are single-use. SonyLIV's own voucher terms add more limits: each code works once, expires (Subspace's SonyLIV vouchers are valid for six months from purchase), and cannot be combined with other offers on SonyLIV's site.
So a "Sony LIV coupon code for 1 year free" on a blog was either redeemed by the first reader or expired long ago. Pages promising a free code after you share your login, install an app or complete a survey are phishing for your details. If you do hold a valid code, enter it at checkout: open Subscription on the website or Android app, pick a plan and tap Select a Promo Code. Codes can't be combined with a free trial. Also check sonyliv.com/subscription before you pay; on 12 October 2026 it advertised plans from ₹299 a month, below the helpdesk list price.
A year of SonyLIV, five ways
Paying monthly is the costliest choice by far: twelve months of LIV Premium at ₹399 adds up to ₹4,788. The annual plan cuts that to ₹1,499. A ₹1,499 SonyLIV voucher bought on Subspace at the time of writing cost about ₹909. The annual plan allows two screens, so splitting it with one other person halves the price. Mobile Only is cheapest if you only watch on a phone.

Recharges and packs that include SonyLIV
Telecom bundles are the closest thing to a free SonyLIV subscription: you pay for the recharge and SonyLIV comes with it. Bundled access is often limited to a mobile tier and is activated through the operator's app, so check the pack details before you recharge. Subspace lists SonyLIV gift vouchers in several denominations, including ₹1,499, which matches the annual LIV Premium price. You pay less than face value and redeem the code on your own SonyLIV account.
