Haryana has two state distribution companies. Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd (UHBVN), headquartered in Panchkula, covers north Haryana; Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN), headquartered in Hisar, covers the south including Gurugram and Faridabad. Both identify a connection by a 10-digit account number on the bill and both are billed under the same Haryana tariff. With a UHBVN account number you can view and download the bill on uhbvn.org.in, pay it there, or pay through any Bharat Connect (BBPS) app, including Subspace. UHBVN or DHBVN: who bills a Haryana home
The company name is printed on your bill. Without one, go by district: north Haryana is UHBVN, and south Haryana, including Gurugram, Faridabad and Hisar, is DHBVN. The two companies run separate websites, helplines and payment pages, and apps list them separately, so choose the right one before you enter your number.

View or download a UHBVN bill
UHBVN's home page has a View Bill tile. It opens the view-bill page, which asks for your 10-digit account number; enter it to see the current bill. For downloads and receipts, sign in to My Account (register first if you haven't). Under Bill Information you'll find Bill Summary, Download Bill, Email/SMS Alert and Payment Receipt, and under Consumption, your Consumption History and a Consumption Calculator.
Some older accounts are still identified by a Book No. and Sr. No. rather than a 10-digit number. UHBVN's e-payment page accepts either, so check which one your bill shows.
Haryana’s domestic tariff for 2026-27
HERC's order for 2026-27 kept domestic rates unchanged, and UHBVN's sales circular lists them by category of connected load. Small homes with up to 2 kW (Category I) pay ₹2.20 a unit for the first 50 units and ₹2.70 up to 100 units, with no fixed charge. Homes up to 5 kW (Category II) pay ₹2.95 a unit up to 150 units, then ₹5.25, ₹6.45 and ₹7.10 in higher slabs; there's no fixed charge up to 300 units, and ₹50 per kW per month above that. Loads above 5 kW pay from ₹6.50 a unit plus ₹75/kW.
Consumers on prepaid smart meters get a 5% rebate on fixed and energy charges under HERC's prepaid metering regulations. Electricity duty, municipal tax and fuel surcharge adjustment are added to every bill.

Ways to pay a UHBVN bill
On UHBVN's site. The Pay Bill tile opens the e-payment page at epayment.uhbvn.org.in. Enter the account number (or Book No./Sr. No.) and pay online.
Through Bharat Connect. On Subspace, choose Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN), enter the 10-digit account number, check the name and amount, and pay by UPI. The payment is posted to UHBVN through Bharat Connect, and Subspace keeps the number for next month.
In person. For bill corrections or counter payments, contact your UHBVN sub-division office or call 1912.
After paying, check Payment Receipt under My Account, or keep the app's reference until the payment shows. A DHBVN bill works the same way in Subspace: choose DHBVN instead.

How do I download a UHBVN bill?
Sign in to My Account on uhbvn.org.in and open Bill Information → Download Bill. Payment receipts are under Bill Information → Payment Receipt.
How do I pay a Haryana electricity bill online?
UHBVN customers pay on epayment.uhbvn.org.in and DHBVN customers on epayment.dhbvn.org.in. Both can also pay through Bharat Connect apps such as Subspace with the 10-digit account number.
What if my UHBVN bill has a Book No. and Sr. No. instead of an account number?
UHBVN’s e-payment page accepts Book No./Sr. No. for older accounts. For BBPS apps, use the 10-digit account number if your latest bill shows one.
