Most of what people call "Hotstar movies" comes from five sources:
- Hollywood studios. Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars, plus the HBO Max hub launched inside JioHotstar in April 2026 with HBO and Max originals, Warner Bros. films and DC titles. Sitcoms such as Friends and The Big Bang Theory came with it.

The Mobile plan at ₹79 covers Indian films, regional cinema and TV shows on one phone, but leaves out Hollywood unless you add the ₹49 Hollywood add-on. Super includes Hollywood and adds TVs and laptops. Premium removes ads outside live sport and other live shows and allows four devices at once.

How to find the best movies on JioHotstar
